About Us
The List publishes and distributes information on events and entertainment and creates associated editorial content including recommendations, interviews, previews, reviews and features. The company’s primary consumer publishing is a series of award-winning websites.
We run a site dedicated to Film, to the Edinburgh Festivals and for our food imprint, The Larder in addition to the leading UK events guide.
The List has a regular audience of online users with the great majority accessing our content on mobile devices. The majority of our audience comes from large UK cities including London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Belfast, Liverpool, Manchester, Bristol, Newcastle, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Bradford, Cardiff and Coventry.
The List consistently wins awards and is a member of the Creative Industries Federation.
The List began as an arts and entertainment magazine focused on Edinburgh and Glasgow and was founded by Robin Hodge, In 2022, The List moved from The List Ltd and found a new home with List Publishing Ltd and is now being run under the leadership of Sheri Friers, who has worked with Robin for over 20 years.
Readership
Alongside our digital activities, we have a readership for The List magazine and other publications which varies over the year and is linked to the major events and cycles in the Scottish arts and entertainment scene.
Our other print publishing activities cover the food and drink sector, festivals including the Edinburgh Festivals, city guides, students and music events.

The List provides highly targeted audience for venues, events, promoters, brands and businesses of all sizes both in print and online. There are a range of opportunities and packages available including display advertising, sponsorship, newsletters, content marketing, offers and more.
Employees
The List has a permanent staff of c. 6 people and uses the services of around 125 freelancers in the course of a year.

The logo is to be displayed in its entirety, without colour variations and without other elements superimposed on top. The logo may not be made the most prominent element of your web page, printed material or other content.
